Oct. 8th, 2013 01:51 pmFor the prompt "Isolation". Also came about thanks to my own sort of feelings of down-ness, for lack of a better word. So I decided to go back for Halloween 5. This is from another one of my favorite scenes -- the attic scene where Michael unmasks for Jamie. It's sort of a divisive scene amongst the fanbase; some people love it and find it really moving, and some people hate it and find it kind of cheapens Michael's character (mostly thanks to the fact that he's really supposed to be more of an abstract than a person -- an abstract idea of evil, really. Think sort of like Palpatine, really). Me? I kind of like the scene a lot. I can understand where the detractors are coming from, but at the same time, it's well-acted from both Danielle Harris and Don Shanks (the guy playing Michael at the time), it's well-scored (seriously, the music is just gorgeous), and...well, it's just overall very well-done. (That and the transition from hating the bastard villain to feeling kind of sorry for him/her is kind of a trope that can't help but get me every time. If done well, that is, and most of the time? It definitely is)
And without further ado, the artwork. (Also, sorry if I'm annoying my f-list. And if the quality is kind of rubbish)
