Date: 2014-05-15 01:25 am (UTC)Why I don’t: I don't. I really don't. She's a great character.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): "Dalek", "Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways", "Tooth and Claw", "Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel", "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit", "Fear Her", "Army of Ghosts/Doomsday", "Turn Left", and "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End".
Favourite season/movie: Season 2. She was great in Season One, but I think Season Two was really where she came into her own.
Favourite line: Honestly, a lot, but her Bad Wolf speech stands out (just incredibly badass), and her line to the Ninth Doctor when she's calling him out in "Dalek" -- "What about you, Doctor? What are you changing into?" I mean, she's standing up to the Doctor even when he's got his gun pointed at the Dalek, and she's refusing to back down. And she got him to put the gun down. That's...holy fucking shit, that is awesome.
Favourite outfit: A lot, but I really like her Doomsday get-up (the coat and gloves), the outfit she wears in Turn Left, The Stolen Earth and Journey's End, and I really love her outfit in "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit".
OTP/OT3: Doctor/Rose, definitely. They bring out the best in each other, and they were just...adorable and fun together. It was clear that they enjoyed one another's company, and just adventuring with one another, and something about that, at least for me, was just fucking infectious.
Brotp: Jack and Rose. Also, in an AU sense, Rose and Donna, Rose and Amy and Rose and Martha.
Head Canon: I can picture that as a kid, Rose was definitely a dreamer, thinking about going places, occasionally daydreaming in class, etc. Stuff like this, a desire for adventure, leaked into her adult years when she decided to travel with the Doctor.
Unpopular opinion: I really don't think that Rose is a bad person just because of what happened with Mickey. I really don't.
A wish: I'd definitely love to see what she and Ten Too are up to in Pete's world.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Can't say, really.
5 words to best describe them: Kind-hearted, cheerful, brave, adventurous, friendly.
My nickname for them: Um, Rose? I can't say I really have a nickname for her.

Looking forward to it!
Part One
Date: 2014-05-15 01:58 am (UTC)Why I don’t: N/A.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): Well, the meadow picnic scene in Attack of the Clones was very, very cute, in my opinion. And in Revenge of the Sith, when he and Padme feel each other across Coruscant, when he cries after killing the Separatists, and when he learns about Padme being pregnant. I think it's just the joy in his face that just makes it -- that and it feels very real in terms of how someone in that situation would act. He's scared of what it could bring about (as is Padme), and yet he's genuinely happy about the idea of having a child (well, children). It's really scenes like this that make the Original Trilogy all the more depressing, because he genuinely loved Padme, and Luke and Leia. It's just...well, it's really fucking unfair how it turned out, that's what it is.
Favourite season/movie: Probably Revenge of the Sith, just because there's so much meat there in terms of his eventual fall to the Dark Side.
Favourite line: A lot, really, but his line after learning about Padme's pregnancy is one: "We're not going to worry about it. This is a happy moment. The happiest moment of my life." And his speech about compassion in AOTC. I dunno, I just have a soft spot for that speech.
Favourite outfit: The outfit he wears in Revenge of the Sith. Both his Jedi robes and the cloak he wears when he's storming the Temple. Just...holy fucking shit, that is an awesome cloak.
OTP/OT3: Anakin/Padme. Also known as one of my first OTPs.
Brotp: Anakin and Obi-Wan. I just find their dynamic really fascinating. Also, Anakin and Ahsoka, Anakin and Artoo, Anakin and Threepio, and (in a probably odd way) Vader and Luke.
Head Canon: Even though Anakin doesn't take too well to authority figures (partially from his experiences as a slave, so he has some reservations with authority. Watto wasn't abusive -- not like, say, Gardulla -- but he wasn't the nicest guy either), he gets on very well with people such as, say, the clones, even seeing them not as simply clones, but equals.
Part Two
Date: 2014-05-15 01:59 am (UTC)A wish: I'd really love to see him come back as a Force Ghost in Episode VII and spend time with his kids.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I really don't know. I think the worst of it really happened when, in Apocalypse, Luke judged him for having to leave Mortis to continue fighting in the Clone Wars and called him basically morally weak. I mean, that really pissed me off, because I think Anakin, in a way, is one of the bravest, most heroic people in Star Wars. Yes, he turned to the Dark Side, yes, even as a Jedi he had his flaws and questionable decisions (to say the least) and even some downright terrible ones, but in the end, he turned on the Emperor, saved his son, and thus helped save the day. So yeah, that bit in Apocalypse was kinda irritating.
5 words to best describe them: Flawed, loving, determined, brave, loyal.
My nickname for them: Um, Anakin? I don't really have a nickname.
Re: Part Two
Date: 2014-05-25 08:50 pm (UTC)He should have, yes. He was excited in ROTS for the kids. He would have totally come back and spent time with his kids.
I don't like Anny as a nickname for him. No, it's Anakin!
Re: Part One
Date: 2014-05-25 08:47 pm (UTC)Revenge is my fave too. And his hair suits him better.
Obi-Wan and Anakin are my brotp, and I really love their banter so anything they say. "Hey, no lose wire jokes!" is one of my faves!
I agree. He is such a BAMF in that cloak.
:D Aww. They are such a sweet ship. Their love is so obvious. And they love each other in equal parts. None is more in love with the other.
I agree. Obi-Wan and Anakin, like I said, have great banter!
Head canon accepted!

Date: 2014-05-15 08:19 pm (UTC)Why I don’t: Um, can't say, actually. Seriously.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): His comforting Anakin at Qui-Gon's funeral in Episode One, first meeting Anakin in Episode One (he's just so sweet there), and his fight with Grievous in Episode Three. Also, saying goodbye to Anakin in Episode Three.
Favourite season/movie: I think Episode 2 or 3 was really where he was at his best.
Favourite line: A lot of them, but "You were right about one thing, Master. The negotiations were short." and "So uncivilized" are two really good ones. Also, "These are not the droids you're looking for."
Favourite outfit: Probably his episode 3 Jedi robes, because they are just plain cool.
OTP/OT3: Obi-Wan/Satine or Obi-Wan/Sabe. Or Anakin/Obi-Wan.
Brotp: Obi-Wan and Cody, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan and Anakin (though I don't mind them as a pairing either).
Head Canon: I can definitely see him, even as Ben Kenobi, still caring deeply about Anakin. He just can't reconcile him with who he later became, Vader, because in his mind, Anakin could never act like this. He's ultimately relieved and happy, though, when Luke and Vader both sort of prove that idea wrong, with Luke trying to save Vader, and Vader overthrowing Palpatine.
Unpopular opinion: I wasn't really a big fan of the Deception arc in Clone Wars. Just a lot of OOCness and wasted potential there.
A wish: I'd love to see him have a cameo in Episode VII.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I kind of heard about there being a sort of Season 6 of Clone Wars, and...well, I just hope that they don't make the same mistakes as in the Deception arc or stuff like that.
5 words to best describe them: Kind, snarky, badass, gentlemanly, wise.
My nickname for them: Um...Obi-Wan? I really don't have a nickname for him.

Date: 2014-05-16 03:04 pm (UTC)And that sounds pretty interesting. Assuming I can find Season 6, I may have to give it a look.
And will definitely do!

Date: 2014-05-15 08:35 pm (UTC)Why I don’t: For all his virtues, Harry can be very self-centered, very judgmental, and very occasionally cruel. I know the Crucio scene in Book 7 really made me uncomfortable when I first read it.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): His battle in the Chamber of Secrets in the second book, the graveyard in Goblet of Fire (scared the shit out of little me when I first read it), and his mental battle with Voldemort in the fifth movie.
Favourite season/movie: In terms of books, Chamber of Secrets or Prisoner of Azkaban. In terms of movies, Order of the Phoenix. The book was pretty good, don't get me wrong, but I think the movie adaptation was slightly better.
Favourite line: "There's no need to call me sir, Professor." HBP has its problems, but that line was pretty good. And in the Goblet of Fire movie, "Have it your way" when he's facing down Voldemort. And in the OOTP movie, "You're the weak one. And you'll never know love, or friendship. And I feel sorry for you."
Favourite outfit: His Hogwarts uniform. Especially in the movies. It's pretty damn cool looking.
OTP/OT3: Harry/Ginny.
Brotp: Harry and Ron.
Head Canon: After Deathly Hallows, he and Malfoy weren't necessarily the best of friends, but they had a lot more respect for each other.
Unpopular opinion: I'm not really a Harry/Snape shipper.
A wish: Um, can't say.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Again, can't say.
5 words to best describe them: Brave, flawed, snarky, heroic, kind.
My nickname for them: Um, Harry?

Date: 2014-06-10 12:13 am (UTC)So, anyway...
Why I like them: She's noble, strong, brave, compassionate, loving, selfless and loyal.
Why I don’t: N/A.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): A lot of her scenes with Anakin in AOTC and ROTS, as well as her Senate scenes in TPM, as well as the battle scene in TPM. And the Battle of Genosis in AOTC. And the deleted scene from AOTC when she's trying to negotiate with Dooku.
Favourite season/movie: The Phantom Menace. She was definitely at her best there.
Favourite line: From the AOTC novelization, "If you offer the Separatists violence they will show violence in return!" And from the AOTC movie, her line about it being mentors' job to point out faults, and from ROTS, "There is good in him. I know there is, still..."
Favourite outfit: So many, but the meadow picnic outfit from AOTC is my overall favorite.
OTP/OT3: Anakin/Padme, definitely.
Brotp: Padme and Ahsoka, and Padme and Satine.
Head Canon: I definitely dig the alternate scenario of Padme, should she have lived, becoming Empress of the galaxy, and Anakin/Vader being her right hand man. And Anakin/Vader's job being to stand at her side and look intimidating, while Padme's the more diplomatic one. (If that makes sense)
Unpopular opinion: I really don't think Padme was weakened in ROTS.
A wish: For her to make a cameo in Episode VII, maybe as a hologram or even something like Luke and Leia coming across a diary entry.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I can't say. Other than for Clone Wars Season Six (yeah, they have some episodes out); I just hope they handled her character well there and didn't derail her.
5 words to best describe them: Kind, selfless, strong-willed, open-minded, brave.
My nickname for them: Um, Padme? I honestly don't have a nickname for her.

Date: 2014-06-10 09:34 pm (UTC)I *love* the idea of her being Empress of galaxy. It'd be awesome. I also agree that she wasn't weaker in ROTS..at least not to the extent other people say she was.
