Why I like them: Well, he's a very complex character. He doesn't do what he does for the sake of greed and revenge; he does it because he wants to save Padme. I don't know; back when I was growing up, I can't say I ever encountered a villainous character where someone actually detailed the history of how they became who they were, starting out as a sweet, innocent kid before transitioning to a moody but well-intentioned teenager (and he actually feels like a teenager. God knows he reminds me of some of my teenage years) to, of course, Darth Vader. He's just a very interesting character, and really unusual and revolutionary considering how I don't think many would do something like that. That and he's kind, he's funny, he's loyal, he's clever, he's brave, he fundamentally wants to do a good job, he's determined, he's tough, he's very loving, he's naive, he's stubborn -- he's just a great character.
Why I don’t: N/A.
Favourite episode (scene if movie): Well, the meadow picnic scene in Attack of the Clones was very, very cute, in my opinion. And in Revenge of the Sith, when he and Padme feel each other across Coruscant, when he cries after killing the Separatists, and when he learns about Padme being pregnant. I think it's just the joy in his face that just makes it -- that and it feels very real in terms of how someone in that situation would act. He's scared of what it could bring about (as is Padme), and yet he's genuinely happy about the idea of having a child (well, children). It's really scenes like this that make the Original Trilogy all the more depressing, because he genuinely loved Padme, and Luke and Leia. It's just...well, it's really fucking unfair how it turned out, that's what it is.
Favourite season/movie: Probably Revenge of the Sith, just because there's so much meat there in terms of his eventual fall to the Dark Side.
Favourite line: A lot, really, but his line after learning about Padme's pregnancy is one: "We're not going to worry about it. This is a happy moment. The happiest moment of my life." And his speech about compassion in AOTC. I dunno, I just have a soft spot for that speech.
Favourite outfit: The outfit he wears in Revenge of the Sith. Both his Jedi robes and the cloak he wears when he's storming the Temple. Just...holy fucking shit, that is an awesome cloak.
OTP/OT3: Anakin/Padme. Also known as one of my first OTPs.
Brotp: Anakin and Obi-Wan. I just find their dynamic really fascinating. Also, Anakin and Ahsoka, Anakin and Artoo, Anakin and Threepio, and (in a probably odd way) Vader and Luke.
Head Canon: Even though Anakin doesn't take too well to authority figures (partially from his experiences as a slave, so he has some reservations with authority. Watto wasn't abusive -- not like, say, Gardulla -- but he wasn't the nicest guy either), he gets on very well with people such as, say, the clones, even seeing them not as simply clones, but equals.
