Pick a character and I will give and explain the top five ideas/concepts/etc I keep in mind while writing that character that I believe are essential to accurately depicting them. Any and all characters welcome ( including ones I haven't written but might know about...)

All right then. :)

1. For all people say he takes after Padme, he also takes a lot after Anakin. His love of flying, his skill with flying, the Force, what-have-you, not to mention his great empathy and affection for other people. But he does also have some of Padme's traits, such as attempting to compromise before attacking as well as her more forgiving nature.

2. He also has his father's cunning and creativity, such as hurling a grenade inside an Imperial walker, as well as the entire plan to get off Jabba's sail barge.

3. He also has a bit of his father's snark and wit, such as how he behaves around Palpatine (in a sense). In short, he takes a lot after his father.

4. He's willing to give other people a chance -- Han, for example, in A NEW HOPE, and later Vader in RETURN OF THE JEDI. And with Vader, I can also see it is trying to work out the idea of how such a good man like Ben and Yoda described could have become Vader. I can imagine that once he learned more about his father's history, it made him pity his father more than ever before.

5. Like his father, don't threaten his loved ones. It never ends well.
