Day 08 - The pairing with the most baggage?
Considering that a lot of my ships have emotional baggage one way or the other, this is a tough one. Mostly going for the ones where the baggage seems evenly distributed:
-Exile/Atton. I mean, former Jedi General and former Sith assassin? I'd say that's a lot of baggage here.
-Finn/Rey. Because of his past as a stormtrooper for the First Order (and likely the matter of how he deals with the likely nightmares of his "training"), and because of her past with being abandoned on Jakku and what she had to do in order to survive there. And some other stuff from her past that, most likely, will be revealed to us in episodes eight and nine.
-Revan/Carth. With the added "bonus" of Revan being, in a way, responsible for quite a bit of Carth's baggage.
-Laurie/Annie (Rob Zombie Halloween remakes. Yes, I watched at least the second one, give me a break here). Mostly because of what they both had to go through at Michael's hands. Halloween II (2009) gets bashed a lot, but I did really like how Rob Zombie delved into Laurie's psyche after this horrific event, and gave us a glimpse of how Annie's doing as well. It's something you don't often see in horror movies, just "what happens after the Final Girl(s) -- or Guy(s) -- survive the worst".
-Nancy/Quentin (NOES 2010). Mostly because of their shared history with Freddy Krueger, and how that would influence them both.
-Han/Leia. There's the matter of Leia's homeplanet being brutally massacred, there's Han's backstory (whatever it is), and then, in TFA, there's the matter of Kylo Ren, and whatever happened pre-TFA that made them all fall apart.
( Rest of questions. )
