Snowflake Challenge, Day Twelve

So I decided to do a fanmix, which I haven't done in a long time. This is really just a sample of stuff I associate with the Ben/Kylo and Poe ship, so I haven't really covered everything. In terms of theme? Well, I guess angst. Because if there's one of many things this ship is about, it's about the angst.

Poe's POV. To say that he's devastated that Ben is Kylo Ren is an understatement.

Poe's POV. Most likely reflecting on Ben's fall.

Can't scratch it all away
Most likely from Kylo Ren's point of view. Considering his struggles with the Light Side, it seems appropriate.
5. My Immortal by Evanescence:
I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave

'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

You used to captivate me by your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face, it haunts my once pleasant dreams
Your voice, it chased away all the sanity in me
Could be from either Poe or Kylo's POV, though now that I think about it, Kylo's point of view fits better. I can picture this song applying to Poe's influence still being there and refusing to leave him, part of his "call to the Light", as it were. (My own headcanon is that Kylo has multiple calls to the Light, family, friends and significant others alike)
6. Love Song For A Vampire by Karliene ( originally by Annie Lennox ):
Once I had the rarest rose
That ever deigned to bloom
Cruel winter chilled the bud
And stole my flower too soon
Poe's POV. Not that Poe's a vampire (though that would make for an interesting AU), but the song's a lot more than that. It's about grief and losing someone horribly -- the winter could definitely be interpreted as Snoke's influence, if you like.

I remember when
We used to laugh
And now I wish those nights would last
Poe's POV, without a doubt. Reflecting on the better times they had together as Ben Solo and Poe Dameron, even with the chaos the galaxy no doubt had going on around them.

It takes control and drags me into nowhere
I need your help, I can't fight this forever

I can feel you out there
Ben Solo's POV. His struggles with the Dark Side, even before he fell.

From Poe's POV. In my rewrite-verse, it's his promise to get Ben back, no matter what.
