Currently have (holy shit) 31,697 words. (Ouch) Been doing pretty well so far -- trying to work out the logistics of the duel with the Emperor, which, whenever I've been going over it in my head, it's like I'm back playing KOTOR in my mind (not that I'm really complaining, but I guess I'm trying to map out how exactly it's all going to work). I admit for the duel I'm drawing a bit on the duel with Darth Nihilus in KOTOR II (when the Exile -- or Meetra, depending on whether you regard TOR as part of your KOTOR canon or not -- Mandalore and Visas basically throw down with the Lord of Hunger. Some people thought the Nihilus fight was too easy, but me? I think even before the TSLRCM -- which I recommend because it's awesome -- Nihilus was quite the opponent. That's my opinion, of course, and I'm getting off track) -- basically, a whole group of people against a Sith Lord who can still hold his own very much. And I've kind of changed the Emperor's ROTJ characterization a bit to take his ROTS characterization into account -- mostly in terms of how manipulative he can be. (My headcanon in regards to his original ROTJ characterization was that he got really cocky regarding Luke -- everything's going according to plan except, whoops, Luke doesn't seem to want to be his marionette. And later on, neither does Vader. In ROTS, he wasn't as cocky and was definitely at his prime -- in my opinion -- there, even if he was no slouch in ROTJ either) And I've been trying to make sure Mara doesn't accidentally fulfill that vision in the cave. So that part's pretty complicated. I know it's also weird doing scenes out of order, but it's always kind of worked for me -- I can get to the parts that I want to write and if the build up ends up different than what I expected, well...revision. I know this is getting pretty interesting. 

Generally doing okay. Feeling a little sad at the moment, but otherwise? I'm fine. *Sighs* I just wish that my hormones didn't seem dedicated to sucking.

On a brighter note, got to watching CURSE OF THE BLACK SPOT in DOCTOR WHO. Verdict? A little weird, but overall? It was pretty excellent.

So overall? Awesome episode. Definitely recommended. 

Took some time to write Mara's portion of Mustafar -- you know, when she confronts Luke about killing the Jedi in the Temple -- while LJ was having some pretty aggravating technical difficulties. (Seriously; I think I was ready to tear my hair out in frustration. :P #Overreacts. XD) *Sighs* I just hope we get a report of what the hell happened -- still, something tells me that the server was probably just being cranky or something. Probably no big deal. :) *Sighs* Anyways, back to Mara.

Currently working a bit on my Role Reversal verse, with Anakin as the farmboy and Luke as the fallen Jedi Knight.

I'll admit, the part where Luke falls is going to be the most difficult to write, IMHO. Not because I'm afraid of him falling, but the real problem is writing him sympathetically. Especially since after reading LOTF , I walked away from the series utterly loathing Luke Skywalker. He didn't kill anyone or commit any atrocities like blowing up planets for the hell of it -- it was something as simple as this: the glorified degradation of Luke Skywalker's character.

And that's my rant/rambling about Luke for the day. I'm very sorry if I offended anyone; I mostly needed to get it off my chest. Hopefully I can manage to get around this issue -- I should really watch the old movies again, just to see reasons why I used to love Luke -- but even so...
