I've been struggling with the ending for the first episode of KOTOR II. I don't really know why I'm splitting it into a trilogy, but I think it's so we can cover...well, all the good stuff. So I'll be taking manwe_iluvendil's approach.
Just to outline, for an entire movie:
Inciting Incident: Most likely the vicious attack on the Harbinger by Darth Sion, if only because it kicks off KOTOR II.
Catalyst: The decision to go and find the Jedi Masters.
Midpoint: Meeting Visas Marr.
Crisis Point: The Enclave on Dantooine.
Climax: Telos and Malachor.
Resolution: Everything else, including the decision to find Revan.
Now, if you're covering Peragus:
Inciting Incident: The attack on the Harbinger.
Catalyst: The decision to leave Peragus.
Midpoint: Exploring the wreckage of the Harbinger.
Crisis Point: The chase through the Peragus asteroid field.
Climax: Sion destroys Peragus.
Resolution: Now what?
And then set up Telos and the different planets. Finally, the good stuff, the meat: Onderon, Dantooine and Telos redux, and Malachor.
So yeah. I'll just...do it over with a proper structure, methinks. See you later. :)
