ladyofleithian: (a/p: happiest moment)
Currently a little out of it. Also reading Russell T. Davies' book THE WRITER'S TALE. Brilliant book; I'm actually finding out more about writing than I thought possible (that and the process of working on DOCTOR WHO) -- although there are times that I feel chastened a bit. For example, when he says that he dislikes dream sequences -- yeah, guess what I include a lot in my stories. XD I guess it doesn't help that I have a lot of bad dreams. (Hell, last year's NaNo got written while I suffered from really bad nightmares, amongst other things, which made it easier to get into Obi-Wan's mindset considering I felt like my sanity was being sort of chipped at) So...yeah, write what you know. That said, I'll attempt to sort of cut down on dream sequences a bit, with the emphasis on "attempt". Don't know how well it will turn out.

On a much lighter note, went to see IRON MAN 3. How was it? Amazing, but Jesus Christ was it dramatic.

So overall? Go watch this movie! Seriously, it's awesome.

Doing a little better than I was previously. I mean, throughout the day...well, it was kind of one of those more miserable moments. Just really feeling rather lousy. Add that I feel like I'm not going to be able to escape from that feeling of shittiness, and... *Sighs* I know it sounds so ridiculously Wangsty, but it's true.

I felt better after watching DOCTOR WHO, though. That and talking with people. Talking always helps. But really, about DOCTOR WHO...we watched "Amy's Choice" and "The Hungry Earth". Both amazing episodes. Didn't really expect to like "Amy's Choice", yet...well, here I am.

So overall? Brilliant episodes. Definitely recommended.

Generally doing okay. Had a bit of a rough morning (my mom even got a bit concerned about my mood being a tad low and everything), but it picked up later, which was definitely good. :) Also got to watch THE VAMPIRES OF VENICE. Didn't expect to love it, but...lo and behold, it was awesome!

So overall? Loved it. Definitely a must-see.

Or rewatching it, at least. Anyway, amazing episode, just as good as I remember it, but sweet Jesus was it heartbreaking. (Yeah, I know, "Doomsday" is heartbreaking. Film at eleven. :P)

So yeah, I recommend it -- but with plenty of tissues on standby. Seriously. (And yeah, I'll admit I was sort of a wreck at the end of this episode)
