Paper Flowers.

Can't say I did many icons in 2014 (didn't help that I kind of...fell off the face of the Earth for a bit -- metaphorically -- thanks to college work). Nonetheless, I think it'll be fun to see where I started and where I ended up.

So I think my overall icon progress went from really-really-bright to still-got-some-vibrancy-in-there-but-definitely-a-little-darker. Wish I'd done more, but I guess that's my only real complaint. Can't wait to see what I make next year! 

Jesus Christ, time really flies, doesn't it? Anyway, I hope that you guys had a good New Year's Eve -- I had a pretty good one, really. We had pizza, we watched Despicable Me 2 (which was awesome and amazing), and we Skyped my aunt (which was also really awesome, because we really don't have that many chances to talk with her, as she lives pretty far from us).

*Sighs*

In terms of 2013, let's say that it wasn't all bad, but let's say it was a pretty rocky year. I'm just hoping that 2014 will be smoother (and that I didn't jinx it immediately after I said that. *Knocks on wood just to be sure*), and that I'll be a better person (because 2013...yeah. Not exactly one of my finest years, to be perfectly honest. I guess it didn't help that I was having a lot of issues at the time -- mostly related to stuff like change, figuring out who I am, stuff like that. Seriously, I'm nearly an adult and I still haven't figured this shit out. Sad, isn't it?) and that I'll be able to enjoy myself more.
