Put a number in the comments and I’ll answer accordingly. The mission for those of us who answer the questions, should we accept it, is to stay positive about our writing and ourselves, but to also be fair about our shortcomings.

Date: 2014-01-30 08:20 pm (UTC)In terms of eight, I really love writing for Anakin, Padme, Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Amy Pond, the Tenth Doctor, the Ninth Doctor, and most sympathetic villain characters (and villain characters in general because I think I do my best writing there). In terms of the characters I like writing the least, it's usually the characters that really, really annoy me, or whose character I don't have a solid grip on. It doesn't even have to be a character I hate; it can be a character I really like but can't really get a grip on (see also some villain characters like Grand Moff Tarkin, etc.). In terms of why, well, it's mostly because they're really interesting, likeable characters that I can do a lot with (in terms of Anakin, Padme, Rose, Martha, Amy and Nine and Ten), and, in terms of the sympathetic villain characters...well, getting inside their heads is amazing. You can do a lot with them, develop them -- it's something you can do with the villains who are more of an abstract of evil as well (I mean, I consider the short bit with Palpatine using Force Lightning on Darth Terminus as one of my best scenes in "Before the Dawn") but with sympathetic villains, you have a lot to work with. So it's the characters who are fascinating, endearing, etc. that are my favorites to write just because of how much you have to work with. :)
As for number five, I mostly get inspired via "What if this happened" or certain crossovers or ideas that no one's done before or even stuff that people have done before but I want to give my own spin to. So really, it just varies.

Eleven, for me as always been my favourite to right. I worry about getting Sherlock right because he's so clever and sees through everything and can be so sassy. . . But he is also very enjoyable to right, so I get what you're saying! :D :D
