Apr. 15th, 2013 01:30 pmPost the first lines of your last 21 fics.
Used some of my older fics (or at least my most recently published fics) as I need to write more.
1. Gallifrey. This was where I was born, and that was, in a sense, where I died.
2. If one is to be truthful, there is nothing more humiliating than landing somewhere that you can't say that you honestly know, long after being shot out of the sky by someone you underestimated fairly badly.
3. I don’t know how long the war’s been going on.
4. He knew that if nothing else, nothing truly lasted forever, that to think otherwise was foolish at best and greedy and selfish at worst.
5. Obi-Wan couldn't say that he disagreed per se with Anakin's decision.
6. The reasons for Obi-Wan's turning are if nothing else, not a happy story.
7. Amelia Skywalker has always dreamed of seeing the stars.
8. There were few things that Obi-Wan wouldn't do if only for the sake of the Council, but the fewness only made it stand out all the more.
9. The Dalek knows that if nothing else, it has every right to be ashamed.
10. If nothing else, Frodo Baggins is unsure of how he feels about being made captain for this mission.
11. Even though they are in different parts of Coruscant, her still in her apartment after a long meeting with some of her friends in the Senate, he can feel her almost as if she is in the same room with him.
12. The music in the cantina was kriffing terrible.
13. To say that the two of them were in trouble was probably an understatement, really.
14. To say that things were bad when they got Donnie back was no doubt an understatement; if nothing else, even as Rebecca dragged him in, Tacoma knew that no matter how bad things got (after all, they had survived killer turkeys and derogatory comments from people who thought their recreations would go nowhere -- and to be fair, it wasn't as if they were working with Shakespeare necessarily), things couldn't get worse than that.
15. He'd never wanted to do this.
16. It's a game that they've managed to play at least in those rare moments when the Empire isn't chasing them, when they can rest for a bit.
17. Luke didn't like the feel of the cantina.
18. There are some times when Obi-Wan Kenobi does not understand why Anakin will not stop with thinking that he and Satine Kryze are dating.
19. By the time Anakin Skywalker manages to leave the Temple for the day, he's already tired.
20. "Go out in nature, they said," Rose said wryly even as the fire finally managed to get going.
21. He didn't have to use any Force tricks if only to make Revan obey.
Overall? I apparently like getting right to the point. And I overuse certain words. And I tend to use the same sort of openings and such. They can vary on occasion, but still...
