Probably the Wookiees. Seriously, adorable, but also very badass. And the Ewoks -- it helps that I kind of have a soft spot for cute, cuddly things. I have a lot of favorite species in STAR WARS, but these stand out most.

Unless droids count as species (R2D2 :D) I'd go with Wookies/Ewoks too.
