I think the shit SUP-lj is pulling has a lot to do with it, too. A lot of people have gone on to Tumblr, some of these other sites, instead of to DW.

A lot of fandom seems to have moved to more visual-based sites, which is ... good for that? But not so much for the text-based stuff. I let my paid account go just because I had so little use for it. There's so much more activity elsewhere that I mostly just post here as an afterthought.

I agree! :( fandom stuff is pretty dead on LJ now, but my other two fave hobby communities (craftgrrl and ontd_political) seem to be booming now. I guess fandom is tired of LJ's crap lol

I don't why SUP can't see what they are doing, except I've been told by Russian users that SUP is really bad at customer relations.

ontd_political is the liveliest comm on my flist. Everything else is about dead, and not too many of my friends post.

I'll be in the progress of spending more time on DW when lj really changes- I hear they have great RP comms there, but it will be like a kid moving and having to make new friends.
