Holy shit, this is awesome! :D Seriously, awesome. :)
Things I Loved:
-Angry Joe's sheer obliviousness to how weird Mechakara and Seven of Eleven are acting. "Nah, he still wears the same brown hat." XD
-Joe shooting the transmissions officer. XD
-Critic muting Terl's audio. XD Honestly, they should do that more often in movies when they have the chance -- mostly regarding the bad guy monologuing. XD XD
+ And later, "Just pretend you're actually listening to a word he says." XD
-Critic rescuing Spoony and co. Took. A Level. In Badass.
-JesuOtaku's weapons that she gave Critic. Honestly, Cloudcuckoolander tendencies aside, I really want those. :3 Also, it got us seeing Critic Taking A Level In Badass, which is always awesome. :3 And poor Paw. XD Also loved the little "Batteries low" and "Overheated" stuff. That was funny. XD
-Terl and Zod played off one another wonderfully, per usual. XD Especially stuff like them arguing about reading the owner's manual for the ship, etc. etc. Honestly, I'd love to see a spinoff involving those two -- that would just be so many levels of hilarious and awesome.
+ Also, Benzaie's cameo there. XD Doing that rap routine. XD XD
-Marzgurl playing captain. Seriously, you are made of fantastic, ma'am. :)
-Terl beaming onto Critic's ship to kill Critic, only to find guns pointed in his face. Fucking. Awesome.
-HOLYSHITCINEMASNOB'SBEENCAPTURED! Because earlier, it was played for comedy (if still suspenseful comedy) what with CR utterly botching the beaming process, but honestly, right now? I'm really worried for Snob. Add the whole scene in the trailer with Snob apparently turning to the Dark Side (figuratively, that is), and I'm really having a bad feeling about this. I'm thinking they'll probably play on whatever grudge he still holds against the Critic for Kickassia -- you know, going mad with power and exiling him. I kind of like the idea, TBH. I think it would definitely be powerful. *Prays in spite of herself for Snob not to go Dark Side, despite it no doubt being a Foregone Conclusion*
Random Observations:
-Another sign of You Watch Too Much DOCTOR WHO, but honestly, what with Phelous being killed (and horribly, I must say! D: I mean, Holy God! D:), and coming back to life, I was thinking of Captain Jack Harkness. Now, granted, I doubt Phelous had that theme in mind in his original show (although he is a Doctor Who nerd. I know he's done a few videos), but that's what I saw. I doubt Doug and co. had that theme in mind watching the script though.
+ *Suddenly has the urge to write a fic where Phelous is captured instead of Snob -- or if CR's beaming failed earlier and Critic ended up being captured* *Makes note to write in between working on other stuff*
Can't wait for more! :D

I nearly died from Terl's malapropisms when he tried to quote Shakespeare. XD
And yeah, I was actually covering my eyes for Phelous's death scene. I know they only show fake blood, but still...
I think this was my favorite segment thus far. It reminds me of when I saw "A Night at the Opera" and just laughed like a nut when the Marx Brothers were sabotaging the opera at the end.
As for the Critic's level in badass, that's one of the things I like about in these crossovers. The Critic can be stupid and childish, but every so often he just deadpan snarks and pulls out a plan that *works*. And it worked so hilariously, too!
On an off-topic note, that corgi toy that Ed!JO carried around? My family actually got my one cousin that for a birthday present, when he was going through his corgi obsession. It paved the way for his Cowboy Bebop obsession. It's a cute little devil. XD

Date: 2012-09-02 02:09 pm (UTC)I was actually cringing during it. Poor Phelous. 0.0.
And I definitely agree! :D
And that's really cool. Seriously. :)

Date: 2012-09-02 05:48 pm (UTC)Bit different this time, wasn’t it? This one was mostly action and comedy so it was a bit of a mood swing from the previous entries although Phelous’ (first) death was pretty damn gory. That part aside I was laughing pretty much throughout until the end when Snob got beamed onto the bad guy’s ship and Luke’s stricken expression was heart-breaking.

I've already posted this on the Tropes WMG page but I think he does and tries to recruit Luke too which results in an Empire Strikes Back scene (complete with Big No).
Then at the end we’ll have a Return of the Jedi based scene with Luke helping him turn back good again.
I mean, you make a parody of all things Sci-Fi, you don’t waste the fact that your youngest group member is called Luke and they’ve already said Snob’s his mentor so I knew they were going to do something with him from the beginning and when Snob was beamed onto the enemy ship and after remembering that line from the trailer..., Yeah, I think I figured out how it goes from there.

*Makes note to write that fic*
Seriously, how amazing would that be?
SNOB: Luke, you can destroy the Executor, Terl and Zod. They have foreseen it. It is your destiny. Join me, and together, we can rule as reviewers! Come with me! It's the only way.
And maybe Snob helping to destroy the Executor and co. at the end. Seriously, that would be amazing! :D
