1. The Phantom Menace in 3D (seriously, I don't care what anyone else may say; it was amazing)
2. The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn
3. The Hobbit movie (in terms of movies that are just coming out).
4. In terms of recent rewatches, the STAR WARS movies. More specifically the prequels. I don't care what anyone else may say; I love them. :3
5. The Doctor Who 1996 TV movie. Yes, it has its flaws, but overall, it's just a very enjoyable watch.
======
1. Korra (yes, I've finally gotten around to watching Korra. Still just on the first episode, but I really like her so far! :D She reminds me a lot of heroines I used to write in original fiction, when I was just a kid).
2. Lisbeth Salander (I haven't seen/read GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO yet -- my mom has the books on her Kindle, I believe -- but I can't deny the cultural impact that she's had).
3. Katniss Everdeen (I sadly haven't read THE HUNGER GAMES yet -- my brother has copies, though -- but she already intrigues me).
4. Rose Tyler (I've just gotten into watching DOCTOR WHO, and she's made of awesome. :3).
5. Martha Jones (also from DOCTOR WHO. Because she rocks as well. :3).
Oooh, the Adventures of Tin Tin! Is it really good? I've been debating on whether I should watch it.
I fully recommend the GWTDT books because I think you'll enjoy Lisbeth if you liked Korra. She's not as outgoing or as warm as Korra for totally understandable reasons I'm not going to tell you about because you deserve to read this book unspoiled, but she's just as fierce and likeable.
I need to watch the first seasons of Doctor Who because I hear it's better than the current series if I liked Amy Pond I'll probably like Rose and Martha.

Date: 2012-07-09 12:17 am (UTC)Top five favorite ships (this is actually pretty difficult, as I love so many ships I can't just pick five, but I'll try):
1. Anakin/Padme.
2. Aragorn/Arwen.
3. Beren/Luthien.
4. Nancy/Quentin (NOES remake. I just love the whole friendship-turning-to-love thing).
5. Frodo/Arwen (a bit of an unconventional pairing, I will admit, but I quite like it).
Favorite friendships (again, so many I can't really choose):
1. The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones from DOCTOR WHO.
2. Obi-Wan and Padme. Because while I may not be able to buy them together together per se, their friendship is definitely very sweet.
3. More of an adopted sibling relationship, but Rameses and Moses from THE PRINCE OF EGYPT. Just for the heartbreaking factor.
4. The bond between the Fellowship in THE LORD OF THE RINGS (especially in the movies! :D).
5. The bond between Team Avatar in AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER.
Favorite movies (to name a few):
1. Star Wars
2. The Lord of the Rings trilogy
3. Tron Legacy
4. The Harry Potter movies.
5. Beauty and the Beast.
