I'll freely admit I'm a little torn on this one. On the one hand, I like the relationships between Revan and T3, Revan and Bastila, Revan and Canderous, etc. here. But on the other...*sighs* I can't quite put my finger on it, but I just have a bad feeling about this. That's all.

Date: 2011-11-15 05:36 pm (UTC)The hype must from a lot of pissed off reactions from us old fans. They must be desperate to sell Tor to newcomers because of how many people are walking away.
TES is a certain style that appeals to certain people. But the TES team listens to their fans.
Everything that was wrong with Oblivion they fixed in Skyrim. It's more like an earlier tes, Morrowind. It's grittier, more realistic than Oblivion. It's so awesome that it's keeping my attention off this Tor shit.

Date: 2011-11-16 12:01 am (UTC)Gotcha, gotcha. My only beef with TES series is the combat system. If I want an RPG where I can control specific actions of my character, I'll play Mass Effect or Diablo 2. Not to bash on TES too much, but the combat, IMO, is a haphazard point-and-click-hack-and-slash. But thats just me, its neat otherwise.

Date: 2011-11-16 12:33 am (UTC)The combat is much improved, much much improved, nothing like Oblivion. They've included dual wield, and the moves look much better. You have to think out what kind of attack you want to carry out, or block. They even have the graphic cut scenes of killing blows.
