1. When I started shipping them: Mmmm...probably around the Ferngully and Bratz reviews. Also, writing a lot of fanfic -- let's say I'm a pretty flexible shipper. I definitely know back before I knew about shipping wars in the HP fandom -- a time I'd preferably like to go back to. :P -- I was just happily browsing between Harry/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, etc. without a care in the world. But yeah -- I just like the chemistry they have together, the snark, etc.

2. What I think their challenge is: Mmmm...good question. But like you said, they really are too dysfunctional to really be "in a relationship", per se.

3. What makes me happy about them: They're silly, naive, irrational youngsters, and I love 'em for that. :3

4. What makes me sad about them: Maybe the fact they're not together in real life. On the other hand, considering that the people they are with IRL are made of awesome...I don't get why I'm complaining. XD

5. What moment I wish had never happened: Probably Kickassia. (Then again, the whole thing was pretty much an in-universe DMOS for the Critic. I mean, Jesus. 0.0)

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I'd have the Critic end up with Marzgurl, and Chick...though I haven't latched onto the pairing yet per se (*is a bit of a Todd/Lupa shipper. Shoot me. XD*), Chick/Todd does sound interesting. #In fact, if Chick, Todd and Lupa got in a threesome, I think...well, bada-bing, problem solved. :)


7. My happily ever after for them: Just being their awesome selves (after they've moved past some of their, um, more serious dysfunctions -- I think it would require a lot of work to get the relationship off the ground), snarking, reviewing bad movies, etc. Because at the end of the day, they really are adorable, naive, irrational little youngsters, and I love them for that. :)

Okay. :) #Here goes nothing...

1. When I started shipping them: I think it was after the whole Bespin thing in EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, as well as during ROTJ (with the...Endor thing and everything. :). I don't think I realized I shipped it though up until I read the ROTJ novelization (seriously, take a shot every time you find something kind of vaguely sexual-sounding regarding Luke and Vader -- y'know, cravings, secret passions, wild submission, stuff like that. You'll probably be completely sloshed by the halfway mark. :P), and also, Necessary Lies by MJ Mink: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2326948/1/Necessary_Lies. Let's say reading it, I thought, "Y'know, the idea of them being lovers makes a weird amount of sense." (Granted, Han was wrongity wrong wrong to the wrongest power, but even so...) Add the fact that the L/M shippers at JCF were getting on my nerves and making me want to rebel, and...yeah. I still love L/M as much as anyone, but JCF...*sighs* Just don't go there if you value your sanity. Seriously.

I think it was definitely ESB-ROTJ that got me shipping them most, though. :)

2. What I think their challenge is: Well, I can imagine that they'd have a lot of emotional baggage to sort through. Padme, Obi-Wan, etc. Plus the matter of Palpatine, and...um, yeah, pretty much everything.

3. What makes me happy about them: Luke's faith in Vader, and Vader's odd tenderness and devotion to Luke.

4. What makes me sad about them: Vader's death. *Sniffles* Also, what happens to Luke post-ROTJ.

5. What moment I wish had never happened: I'll admit what's happened in the later books (regarding Luke and his...loss of compassion thing) has kind of made me sour a bit on the relationship.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

For Vader, either Padme, Han or Palpatine. For Luke, probably Mara, Callista (yes, I like Callista. You may proceed to shoot me. :P), Tionne or Han.

7. My happily ever after for them: Probably overthrowing Palpatine and ruling the galaxy, being their completely awesome selves together. Oh, and maybe Vader getting out of that goddamn suit as well. XD

Because asking when you started shipping Edward/Bella is like asking when people read Twilight: Zuko/Katara (since I'm not sure on HP ships and that's eating my brain now).

1. When I started shipping them: I dunno. It's one of those pairings that really grows on you over time. But I think Season 3 was definitely the most Zutara, if anything. :)

2. What I think their challenge is: I think they both have emotional baggage that has to be sorted through if they're to end up together. For Zuko, his relationship with Ozai, and for Katara, her anger towards the Fire Nation.

3. What makes me happy about them: It's both dark and intriguing, and yet also kind of cute in a way. :)

4. What makes me sad about them: Bryke's attitude towards them. *Shakes head*

5. What moment I wish had never happened: Probably the end of "Crossroads of Destiny". Also, some of Katara's behavior in WAT-TSR. I mean...I know why it was kept in, but I felt like Bryke was trying *too* hard to sink Zutara, if you get what I mean...

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

For Katara, Aang or Jet. For Zuko, Mai, Aang, Toph or Suki.

7. My happily ever after for them: Probably kicking ass together as Fire Lord and Fire Lady, bringing the world into a brighter age. :)

4. I still can not believe what happened and how anti that part of fandom they are. Like I get it, it's not what you wanted but on the other hand these are people who look up to you and you are being horrible assholes about it.

5. What's funny is that I've never had a problem with how Katara acts towards Zuko in those episodes and its mostly because in The Awakening she's holding a massive grudge against her father and its taken weeks for her to finally crack and be nice to him. So there I mostly see a hurt and confused teenage girl who's taking out a lot of anger on someone she thinks deserves it.

6. I have this half assed attempt at a modern day horrible blind date fic for Z/K where Suki is Zuko's friend who is part of setting them up and part of the reason she's there is they dated for like a month before calling it friends. So I'm glad someone else could see Zuko with Suki.

5. I feel like I'm slightly alone in my opinion. She just needs a hug and is growing up. Who didn't hold an unreasonable grudge when they were a teenager?

6. I have this problem though: I want them to go on two horrible dates before calling it quits and then meeting up at a party or something and actually hitting it off. Now I have to come up with two really bad date ideas (the first one chosen by Zuko and the second by Katara) and that's where I'm stuck. I kind of want Zuko to chose going to like a baseball game and Katara hating it not because she doesn't like sports but because Zuko is so immersed in the game they don't talk and he pretty much blows her off. I have no idea what Katara would want to do then.

1. When I started shipping them: When I first read the books, all the way. XD Seriously, just try reading the books and say, "Nope, they're not slashy at all. They're really not." The movies only made things worse.

2. What I think their challenge is: Probably the whole class thing, but I think that's pretty small next to Mordor, Gollum, etc.

3. What makes me happy about them: Sam's devotion to Frodo, and vice versa.

4. What makes me sad about them: Frodo leaving. In fact, I think Frodo leaving was just a sad moment on all accounts. :(

5. What moment I wish had never happened: In the movies, when Frodo believes Gollum's lies about Sam wanting the Ring. I mean, I love you Pete and co. -- and I know why that scene had to happen -- but Jesus Christ did you nearly give me a heart attack. 0.0.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Sam with Rosie, and Frodo with Arwen, Eowyn or Boromir.

7. My happily ever after for them: Just settling down and being their cute, awesome, Hobbity selves.
