Sounds great! #Interested in crack!Nihilus. I personally just got done watching SUBURBAN KNIGHTS (fuck, what an ending. :( ) and wrote some of my RR!ROTJ fic (damn is Luke-Vader a jackass). Anyways! :D
KOTOR:
Three favorite relationships:
1. Revan/Bastila
2. Revan/Carth
3. Revan/Malak
Three favorite characters:
1. Yuthura Ban
2. Juhani
3. Bastila
Three favorite moments:
1. "Spoiled little Jedi princess." Oh, Canderous. XD
2. The Star Forge. Just...the Star Forge.
3. The Big Reveal. Seriously. 0.0.
Three reasons I like/love KOTOR:
1. The relationships.
2. The dialogue.
3. The plot/gameplay.

KOTOR II:
Three favorite relationships:
1. Exile/Sion
2. Exile + Kreia (it's just so twisted and dark and bittersweet and *sad*).
3. Exile/Atton
Three favorite characters:
1. Brianna
2. Visas Marr
3. Atton Rand
Three of my favorite moments:
1. "Jumping into pit a good idea. Get to ground faster that way." XD
2. Sion's first appearance on the HARBINGER.
3. Everything from the fiasco at the Enclave to Malachor V. "Epic" doesn't even cover it. :)
Three reasons I like/love KOTOR II:
1. Kreia. Seriously; she's definitely the selling point for the game. I don't think I've ever seen a female mentor-antagonist that complex, layered, and just all around awesome and terrifying and sympathetic even though she's doing all these horrible things.
2. The writing. Just the writing. From wry, bleak humor to High Octane Nightmare Fuel to heartwarming, the game's got it in spades. Talking to Hanharr as to why he tried to kill Mira comes to mind, as well as comforting Sion (of sorts) after your confrontation with him on Malachor V as the shock of his mortality (and the fact he's basically wasted his life hating and in pain) slowly kills him. Only Malak's death really comes close, IMHO.
3. Um...would it be cheating if I said I love just about everything about KOTOR II? XD
Revan/Malak (friendship with MRevan) Revan/Bastila (not long term, it's funny in the game) Revan/Canderous (friendship with MRevan) Revan/Yuthura srsly
Revan Malak Canderous HK-47 yeah, I'm taking 4 here Yuthura srsly yes, there's an awesome mod that lets you take a redeemed Yuthura with you on the rest of the game in Juhani's place. *I wants to play this bad*
1. Karath's interrogation 2. The Unknown World 3. Dark Side Infinite Fleet ending
Character concept of Revan The storyline of Revan/Malak evolving into a tragic enemies Just about fucking everything else about KOTOR, really
....................
MExile/Visas MExile/Atris MExile/Brianna (Yes, Tor Whitloc is this bad)
Atton Visas G0-T0 TBH Nihilus (used to really hate him) Sion
1. Trashing Jekk Jekk Tar 2. Visas talking with Exile before going back to Telos 3. Freedon Nadd's tomb
Parts of it are really fun to play Can go up so many levels The concepts represented by Kreia Annnnnddddddddddddddd the fact that Obsidian/Avellone wanted to bring back Revan. After LucasArts screwd up K2 with a crushing deadline, Avellone deserves the chance to write that. Because, srsly, he seems to care more for Revan than does Bioware/Karpyshin.
I don't know if you've seen this discussion I've had with kinofsimon in kotor_legends but we discussed a lot about KOTOR and what they've done with it. Including what I said about Avellone deserving the chance to make K3 with Revan coming back. It's longish, but what he says is interesting.
Very interesting discussion with kinofsimon! :D He's awesome. :) And yes, Avellone should really write K3. I personally want to see what he can do with it. :)
That would have been galaxies worth of awesome, totally. Especially with both the Exile and Revan... I would demand dialogue for a snark war between the two! Ha ha!!!!
*sigh* the concept is too cutting edge, I guess, too imaginative... so some ole MMORPG has to do.
LOL, sorry, but I'm laughing at Carth and at how upset he gets all the time, jerking his pistols around. (is playing kotor now). Carth is accusing my character after the BIG REVEAL...
First off, permission to say I love your icon? Seriously. :)
- 3 favourite relationships:
1. Anakin/Padme
2. Vader + Luke
3. Anakin + Obi-Wan
- 3 favourite characters:
1. Anakin Skywalker.
2. Padme Amidala
3. Shmi Skywalker
- 3 of my favourite moments:
1. Any time C-3PO and R2-D2 are on screen.
2. Vader's redemption at the end of ROTJ. *Sniffles*
3. The "hold me" scene from REVENGE OF THE SITH. I know some people complained about the scene -- more like the dialogue. :) -- and TV Tropes even put it under Narm, but I personally think it was effective. I think Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman managed to sell the scene pretty well, for one thing, and another thing is just what it represents: a moment of peace and bliss while everything the Republic's stood for is basically crashing around their ears. (Hell, I may be one of the few STAR WARS fans who thought that they worked really well together. :) And this image really sums it up (originally from Moons Of Iego. :):
It's just such a quiet, tender moment. The two of them really did deserve better than...what happened in the end. :(
- 3 reasons I like/love STAR WARS:
1. The humor.
2. The fact that the action scenes are unbelievably awesome and win, and yet Lucas also knows when to make it quiet and calm. Very similar to Peter Jackson with the LORD OF THE RINGS movies, IMHO. :)
3. The story of Anakin Skywalker. I don't care what, say, the Spoony One says, the fall of Anakin Skywalker may be one of the most human, well-thought-out, heartbreaking, chilling, and utterly captivating stories I've ever read or watched. And honestly? I think Hayden Christensen was the only Anakin, really. :) I don't think anyone else could have played Anakin's strength, sensitivity, and yet vulnerability as well as he did. :)
I support Vader - Luke, Anakin - Obi-Wan as favorite relationships; Anakin and Shmi are among my favorite characters, too; Vader's redemption is definitely the moment that stands out above all the rest; for me, too, Star Wars is Anakin's story and I think that no one could have played him better than Hayden did :)
Oh, that's really awesome! :D And *this*, so very much. :) I mean, I've heard of a lot of people off LJ who complained about Vader being "pussified" in the prequels, but I think they miss the point that Vader used to be a good man. :) A loving husband, a devoted Knight, a good friend...just all these wonderful qualities. I think they were just so used to seeing him as Vader that they almost didn't *want* to think of him as anyone other than...well, Vader. But the STAR WARS Saga really is Anakin's story. :)
