1. HK-47/Hanharr:

Considering what HK-47 says in the (regrettably deleted) HK factory about what he considers slaughter, I have a feeling that Hanharr would irk him a bit, if not be the Bennett the Sage to his Ask That Guy. ;-)

2. General Vaklu/Queen Talia:

"You would destroy everything for your ambition, Vaklu!" Even as they dueled, Vaklu could already feel his muscles start to tire. He was not what one would call a young man, and his cousin was the superior one in terms of swordfighting.

And she was determined, to boot.

He wouldn't deny her resolve, her courage, or her integrity. But as long as she ruled, Onderon would never be free from the Republic. It would lose everything -- its customs, its greatness, its integrity and independence.

And as much as Vaklu cared for her, sacrifices had to be made. For Onderon. For the galaxy.

"That," he said through clenched teeth, "Is a gross simplification, Talia. Change is a painful process. But Onderon will have a new destiny, one larger than you can imagine."

"At what cost?" There was no desperation in her voice, but he could sense her despair at what he had become. "If you prevail, the Sith will take over Onderon. The Republic will die -- and so will the galaxy."

She sounded so convincing in that very moment, that for a moment, Vaklu briefly considered turning back. You don't have to continue this, General. Tobin had said that, in one of his weaker moments.

And yet...

"If I must sacrifice everything for the sake of our planet's freedom," Vaklu said, "I will."

"Then I have no choice."

And the duel went on.

3. Katara/Jana Lorso.

I think Katara's too principled to work for someone like Lorso. If she were the Exile, she'd totally side with the Ithorians. XD

4. Zuko/G0-T0:

They'd have an odd friendship, I think. :)

5. Bao-Dur/Talia:

Mmmm...a lot like Kavar/Talia, I think.

6. Mara Raven/Katara (DR!verse):

Oh, sweet space Jesus, I don't want to think about that... ((Squick)) Though knowing Miss Raven, she'd go there. Seriously.

7. Vaklu/Lorso:

Well, other than representing the Utopia Justifies The Means bit about the Dark Side, I don't think these two have much in common.

8. Kavar/Terena Adare:

Can't really picture it.

9. Boromir/Mira:

Hells yes! :)

I can see it as being a bit of a more good-natured version of Chick/Critic. Or more like Mai/Zuko -- Mira certainly is snarky enough. :)

10. Boromir/Mara Raven:

I'd see it like Hookerverse!Chick/Critic, really. (Seriously, if someone can redeem Tales of A Horny Hawk, I'd give them a freaking medal. :)
