Just...brilliant. Made of brilliant. :3
Things I Loved:
-Spoony expelling that...energy stuff after Lame R. Prick (yes, that is indeed his name. I Am Not Making This Up) decides to, well, unplug him. Seriously creepy.
-The Critic calling the other reviewers to arms. The music really does it.
-Mechakara's among the team! And while I will admit I was tempted to facepalm regarding how nobody noticed that their teammate was suddenly sounding...really evil and stuff, it was a pretty awesome twist. I mean, on the one hand, I know it was probably supposed to be played for laughs, but on the other, you'd think they'd start to ask a few questions, but on the other other, it definitely turns up the tension. And probably ties into the whole "someone's assimilating the crew" thing. Seriously, if Mechakara's working from the inside trying to dismantle the crew, that's seriously creepy. (Although, Mechakara, remember that time in the ULTIMATES 3 review when you disguised your voice so well nobody realized you were Linkara until the very end? Yeah...make use of that skill again. Unless you can't anymore...?)
-Snob and co.'s elaborate story about how Nella and Elisa landed in police custody. (And somehow, I want to write a fanfic involving exactly that: what if they did the things that Snob said they did? Granted, Snob was no doubt exaggerating, but still...)
-Insano's cameo. I'll admit, when he was describing the Plot Hole and the nature of time, I'll admit I almost expected him to follow it up with the timey-wimey stuff thing from "Blink" (hey, it's a good quote!), but the David Lynch movie speech was a lot funnier. XD Also, I'll admit the only thing I was really disappointed in was that Insano didn't join the mission (and stealing his stuff? Come on, guys. XD Okay, granted, desperate calls and all that, but still), but his cameo was still pretty cool. (Also, why do I have a feeling that stealing Insano's stuff is going to come back to bite Critic and co. in a really big way?)
-Eight Bit Mickey taking on Lame R. Prick after one short joke too many. The result (though more implied than anything else) apparently would have impressed Ace. Seriously, Prick, when someone says, "I wouldn't do that if I were you", that's a sure sign you should probably leave. Seriously, don't mention the Bat Credit Card around the Critic, don't tell Diamanda Hagan that "Fear Her" was a good episode of DOCTOR WHO (or mention anything related to "Fear Her"), don't tell Linkara ONE MORE DAY was a good comic, and *never ever* call Eight Bit Mickey "Shorty". Besides, it's just rude.
-"Critic, won't that violate your house arrest?" "Why not? I'm not leaving the house." *Snickers*
-Another thing that made me laugh was Terl monologuing about how the Critic won't evade him -- while the Critic's house-spaceship flies past him. Yeah...that's why you don't monologue. You kind of miss important details (for example, your Designated Nemesis being right behind you the whole time).
-The Executor sending Zod to Terl after Prick is...put out of commission by Eight Bit Mickey. (Again, Ace would be impressed) Seriously, awesome scene. Which is followed by a pretty funny moment where after Zod says his catchphrase ("KNEEEEEL!"), Terl mistakes his name for "Neil".
Overall, awesome. :3 Can't wait for the next part! :D
