1. You win the lottery - what do you do with all that cash?
Probably donate it to charity. Or buy some books or something. Or writing software.
2. Your five favourite movies - and why?
In no particular order -- I love them equally:
(a) The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Definitely the Most Triumphant Example of Movie Adaptations -- You're Doing Them Right.
(b) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney). Great characters, beautiful animation, epic, extremely balls-y for its time (and still is today!), and a great villain. Also, great humor and songs. (I even like the gargoyles, really. :)
(c) Alice In Wonderland (Disney). There are a lot of good things about this movie, but Kathryn Beaumont as Alice and the animation (seriously, such a beautiful world! :D) are definitely my personal favorites. :) Also, the highly memorable characters, especially the Cheshire Cat (seriously, much love for him. :3).
(d) The Star Wars saga. Great characters, great effects -- basically great everything, really.
(e) The Prince of Egypt. If only for the relationship between Moses and Rameses. Seriously heartbreaking.
3. What is your favourite place in the whole world?
Hawaii and the Outer Banks (to name a few).
4. Car, train, motorbike, bicycle, airplane or horse?
Horses. *Has seen Lord of the Rings too many times. XD* That or a train, or a car. I'd love to go on an airplane, but considering the current rules and regulations involving air-traveling in the US (taking off your shoes, going through the scanner, etc.) ... let's say there's a reason that my mom hasn't taken the plane for quite a while now.
5. How did you choose your livejournal name?
Well, originally, I chose it when I signed up for Blogspot -- can't say if I use that account anymore, sadly. :/ -- for an English class last year or so (it's a long story. XD). It's based on the sword that Arwen wields in the Lord of the Rings movies (in the books, incidentally, I believe it belonged to her great-grandmother Idril, a.k.a. one of the most awesome female characters in the Silmarillion, seriously. :). According to the merch, it used to belong to her father, Elrond (at least that's what I can remember). So yeah...bit of a Lord of the Rings nerd. And a tad uncreative. XD
