Jul. 17th, 2011 04:58 pm1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions if they want to be interviewed.
1. When did you fall in love with Anakin Skywalker's character?
Definitely the novels. The movies only solidified it. :)
2. What's your favourite Anakin moment in the movies?
Do I have to pick one? XD All right -- in TPM, the podrace and the Battle of Naboo (also, his first meetings with Padme and Obi-Wan, respectively, and showing Padme Threepio). In AOTC, the meadow picnic scene with Padme (just because we manage to get this beauty of a smile out of Anakin, as well as the subsequent romping through the meadow with Padme) and the fireside confession scene (true, the dialogue may sound a little cheesy to some -- even Lucas lampshaded it in a few interviews or so. XD -- but it's also so sweet and lovestruck and *sincere* that it's almost adorable. :3 *Huggles Anakin* ^^), not to mention the duel with Dooku (I don't really think many other people would have been able to stand their ground against Christopher fucking Lee. Plus, we get the lovely moment when it seems that Obi-Wan's about to be killed by Dooku when Anakin suddenly jumps in and blocks Dooku's strike). In ROTS, the duel with Dooku aboard the INVISIBLE HAND (because, true, it shows Anakin's courage as he's willing to fight for the death for people he loves -- even if Palpatine was basically manipulating him, Anakin's stand was still worthy of admiration -- but also his inner conflicts and his guilt over killing Dooku...probably even showing a bit of pity for Dooku -- I'm sure if not for Palpatine's manipulations, he would have taken Dooku back to Coruscant in chains instead) -- in fact, basically all of INVISIBLE HAND from the space battle above Coruscant to the "Happy Landing". Also, a lot of his moments with Padme are definite Crowning Moments of Heartwarming -- well, up until Mustafar, which was more of a Tearjerker than anything else. Also, Order 66 -- true, it's horrible, but it's just put together so well at the same time. The music, the shots, the acting...basically everything.
...and now I have a feeling I need to start up that Obi-Wan appreciation thread just to balance things out. :)
3. What word do you think could describe your personality?
Anxious. 'Nuff said. I worry a lot, I get slightly obsessive, etc. Let's say it kind of runs in my family; I take medications for it, but sometimes it's not enough. Sometimes I'll also need plenty of sleep, etc. to keep everything working properly. I think I manage to survive, though.
4. Tea or coffee?
Definitely tea. :)
5. Do you have any daily ritual (i.e., something you do to unwind, when you're writing, etc.)? Describe it.
On the weekends, I think it's something the lines of getting up, having breakfast, then going up to work on my writing and everything (usually with iTunes or Youtube blaring some music in the background). Then after writing's done, I work on some of my icons (or homework), have lunch, watch some TGWTG, etc. TGWTG's definitely my choice antidote to whenever I feel particularly shitty.
