ladyofleithianCurrently have 23,827 words. Which...yeah. Not too shabby. Anyway, I think I did well in terms of flashbacks to the Monster Slayer's backstory, even though...well, do vampires have an afterlife? I kind of got the impression from the book version of Dracula that staking them kind of "set them free", in a sense, but can they appear as ghosts, for starters? What would an afterlife for a vampire (or afterundeath?) be like?
Any vampire aficionados (as my villain's foster father -- who died before the events of the story -- is a vampire. No, the villain's not a vampire himself) out there, I would welcome any input. I mostly want to make sure I'm not messing things up.
