ladyofleithianCurrently have 43,603 words. Jesus. Anyway, thought that my writing of Palpatine's death in this version was a bit anticlimactic (then again, I don't know how you can top being thrown down a reactor shaft), but I thought the reactions afterwards were pretty good, as well as possibly having to stop Piett. I'm thinking of it kind of in terms of Salem's Lot -- Palpatine (or the Barlow character) is dead, but his servants still have to be dealt with. And hopefully, I can wrap everything up in a satisfying manner. And of course, deal with everything before that.
