ladyofleithianCurrently have 28,371 words under my belt. Also managed to write a pretty sweet scene between Obi-Wan and Sabe, as well as get into Obi-Wan's mindset a bit more. Which I think will work especially in terms of his fall. I think that's the benefit of writing in order, at least -- you get to let the characters lead the way, at least in a sense. And I'm starting to understand Obi-Wan's eventual fate near the end of the story a bit more; I'm not exactly what you call happy about the idea, but at least I can understand it a bit more.
Also worried that I made the scene too emotional. I mean, then again, I think the phrase "too emotional" is kind of bullshit, really -- I think what I'm meaning is...I'm worried that I made it a bit melodramatic. Then again, it could be an irrational worry on my part. I know that I really adore writing these characters, and it's good to be with them again. Sort of like returning to old friends, at least. :)
