I agree with you on everything on what you said about Anakin. Except: his loyalty to his friends. Well. Sort of. Because while they are a good thing (all friends should be loyal to each other) Anakin went/goes to the extreme. ie, genocidal/murderous tendoncies.
Also: what you said on the flaws making interesting stories? YES. Because otherwise, you're just going to have perfect people doing perfect things and that's not even close to being fascinating, nor true.
