Gakked from the always awesome emeriin:
Give me something to talk about; I have both no shame and a lot of spare time, so give me any fandom-related topic you like, and I'll turn on my metaphorical microphone and then write up the result.

Date: 2011-02-16 11:07 pm (UTC)Loved his reviews of MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION, BATMAN AND ROBIN, etc (don't we all? :). Didn't like his review of A KID IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT or his review of DOUBLE DRAGON too much (if only because I didn't think the Double Dragon movie -- from what I saw -- was that bad. I mean, it's bad, but it's not the fricking Antichrist).
Went into a bit of a Linkara phase, but managed to love Critic dearly as well. Got irked when some people decided to compare them because of that.
Kind of came down with a terminal case of hero worship after Linkara's DOOMS IV #1/2 review (when I ran to Critic's QUEST FOR CAMELOT review for comfort. It...made a little more sense back then. :). Went through a Mama Bear phase coupled with a Linkara hate high...I got better, though. :) Still won't hesitate to rise to the Critic's defense if he needs one, though. For example, the idiots on the TGWTG Dethroning Moment of Suck page who criticized the Christmas Special for no other reason than to just rip into Critic (or so it seemed. :/). And Kickassia (OF COURSE! /M. Bison reference).
I think he's had his stupid stupid moments in his reviews (the "Let 'em rot" joke in the POUND PUPPIES review, that is. I know he didn't mean it, but...it struck a nerve. :/), but overall, he's never really disappointed me. Despite what some of the Fan Dumb says, I think he's been consistently awesome, both in-character and out. :)
And because I'm in a good mood:

Date: 2011-02-17 12:45 pm (UTC)Personally, I'd like to see how the Mechakara/Lord Vyce saga would play out in the Foreign-verse. And if Critic and co. could get involved somehow (especially Critic and Nerd being their old snarky selves), that would be awesome and win. :D
