ladyofleithianI'm not normally an Aragorn/Eowyn shipper (I prefer Aragorn/Arwen myself. :), but let's say that rewatching LOTR (and writing my Disney Rings fic), it's one of those pairings that should have happened. Shoulda coulda woulda at its best.
Why, you ask? Just because it's such a simple pairing: based on friendship, based on love, based on the fact that they'll stand together no matter what. It's just one of those simple, beautiful things.
Don't get me wrong, I love Aragorn/Arwen still, and I understand why Tolkien didn't go with Aragorn/Eowyn (it would have proved all for nothing in the end), but...yeah. Shoulda coulda woulda, really. :/
