First off, I want to apologize for not replying to those meme questions; I was off camping without Wi-Fi. (Let's say I have a lot of stories to tell here)
July 24th - Favorite Doctor Who companion
Honestly, Rose. I adore the others -- Donna's amazing, Martha is severely underrated in parts (and unfortunately got some rather racist slurs thrown at her by SJWs on Tumblr for her unrequited crush on the Doctor, which isn't cool), and Amy, Clara and Rory are awesome, but there is something about Rose's compassion for those one ordinarily wouldn't think to show compassion for (the lone Dalek, for example, and it should be noted that in a sadly deleted scene for "Journey's End" she actually showed compassion for Davros. It's an interesting scene, especially since it shows Davros as half a Well-Intentioned Extremist, half an Unreliable Narrator), her enthusiasm for certain things, her humor, and her courage that really just resonates heavily with me. There was something about me and her where we just...clicked, really.
July 25th - Favorite Doctor and why?
Ten. So very much Ten. Again, because of his compassion. Trying to save the Master, for example. Also, his general love for humanity, his attempts to spare lives as much as he can, his humor, his rambling way of speaking that's quite endearing, and his darker streak that's actually incredibly effectively done. Nine's awesome, the War Doctor is amazing, Eleven's cool and even Twelve has his moments even though it was a struggle for him to grow on me, but there is something about Ten where he just clicked with me. He's pretty much the Doctor, in my opinion.
