Writer's Block: Timeless tales

I honestly can't say. I mean, I love books so much that it's really, really hard to pick.

However, I adored the Harry Potter books, Eragon (don't shoot me, please! XD), and Eloise. I also adored the book Words of Stone (it's...kind of surreal), Nothing's Fair In Fifth Grade, and so on and so forth. Let's say I mostly adored the books for the characters, the plot twists, and more stuff that most likely got me in trouble in school after I was caught reading them. :)

The Social Network Review

Just watched The Social Network with my mom and dad. All I can say is, it was fun, with my mom occasionally making snarky comments regarding Mark Zuckerberg. And...well, I'll post the highlights of watching the film:

-Doug was right; Mark is kind of a motor-mouth. That's part of his charm, though. :)

-Rooney Mara is gorgeous. I think she's one of my main girl crushes now (along with Summer Glau and Miranda Otto). That, and a really good actress (one of my favorites ever since Nightmare on Elm Street). Let's say in the opening scene, I couldn't really focus on the conversation she and Mark were having because I was like, "zomgitsRooneyMara! Eeeeeeeeeeeee!"

-The movie was very, very funny. One highlight being the Disaster Dominoes regarding the hanggliding over the pool. But also kind of sad: for example, when Erica (Rooney) reads the mean comments Mark posted about her on his blog (to be fair, he was drunk at the time. Kind of why you don't LJ while drunk. :).

-Is there a trope called Hey, It's That Song? Because when I heard... this song in the movie during the hacking scene, let's say I had that moment.

-"You're not an asshole, Mark. You just try so hard to be." Awww...

Overall, great movie. My only regret was when it ended. :(
