Very well-said. Somehow, I'm almost afraid to find out what he did in the Time War that was so terrible. On the other hand, it might explain a lot about Nine's...earlier state. That anger and guilt and whatnot. And even some of Ten and Eleven's behavior. And why the other Doctors basically un-regenerationed him. (For lack of a better word) But yeah, I think we really would remind him of himself.
