I LOVED Matthew Stover's novelisation of RotS. I enjoy Karen Miller's stuff (more or less) and I have a particular fondness for the old Dark Horse TCW comics.
After suffering through Legacy of the Force, I can no longer bear to read anything post-movies. It's just like... argh. I enjoyed "Death Troopers" if you took it more as a zombies-in-space book than a Star Wars novel, but yeah, I agree with you.
