Completely agree with your OTPs, and I love the idea of your unusual OTPs. Never would have thought of pairing Lois with Jack, but I could see it working.

Also, apparently we have a shared headcanon with the "lovely couple" of executioners. I had that thought as well.

The Doctor
Anakin Skywalker

For some reason, I can never pick just 1 for these memes.

Part One

My otp: Doctor/Rose, Doctor/Master, Doctor/River.

My most hated pairing: Erm...probably Doctor/Martha. I don't hate it per se, but I just don't feel it per se. I just don't see it as potentially healthy for Martha, at least.

My unusual otp: Hmmm...good question. Probably Nine/Master. And Doctor/Lorna.

My crossover otp: Doctor/Padme, Doctor/Kahlan, Doctor/Gwen.

My brotp/friendship otp: Doctor/Martha, Doctor/Donna, Doctor/Amy/Rory.

Character headcanon: That, in a way, the Clone Doctor was the TARDIS' ultimate reward in terms of a life with Rose whilst human. If that makes any sense. Even long after the Doctor runs out of regenerations, the Clone Doctor's still living with Rose.

My otp: Anakin/Padme. 'Nuff said.
My most hated pairing: Anakin/Dorme. I just...I don't get it.
My unusual otp: Anakin/Sabe. (Long story)
My crossover otp: Anakin/Rose, Anakin/Kahlan, Anakin/Arwen.
My brotp/friendship otp: Anakin/Obi-Wan, Anakin/Ahsoka, Anakin/Steela (long story, kind of doing a rewrite of CLONE WARS Season Five. Yeah, I know)
Character headcanon: I'm definitely going with the idea of Palpatine being responsible for his creation. It really sheds a light on things, I think.

So much agreed on Anakin/Dorme. I don't get it. At all. And it irritates me, especially because the one fic I accidentally clicked on was not particularly kind to Padme.

You have my sympathies there. *Hugs* Seriously, that's the worst part. I can't stand Padme-bashing. At all. And honestly, Dorme just showed up in...what, a few scenes in AOTC? Judging from the AOTC novelization, I can really picture her being a bit more like a friend to him, not necessarily a lover.

Hmm, I'll decide to be tricky. How about Voldemort/Tom Riddle? ;)

[identity profile] ladyhadhafang.livejournal.com 2013-01-31 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
My otp: Harry/Voldemort (yeah, I know. XD They just have a very interesting dynamic), and Hermione/Voldemort.

My most hated pairing: Not really sure. Probably Tom/Ginny. I don't mind twisted pairings, but I have my boundaries, really.

My unusual otp: Voldemort/James (only in *very* AU settings), Voldemort/Lily, and, possibly, Voldemort/Dumbledore. (In a sort of I-want-your-respect-I-don't-need-you way)

My crossover otp: Probably Voldemort/Morgoth (from THE SILMARILLION). That's the best I can think of.

My brotp/friendship otp: Voldemort/Bellatrix, Voldemort/Snape. (In very very sick ways, all things considered)

Character headcanon: (Sort of courtesy of the Rose Potter remake I was planning) That his hatred of Muggles and Muggleborns and those who associated with them was part of a sort of "divine right to rule" and "right makes might" thing. Because he knows that wizards are superior to Muggles in every way -- magically, intellectually, etc. Part of it may be a bit of You Are What You Hate, considering his Muggle father and everything, but most of it is a genuine belief that he is somehow doing what's right. (I think the only problem is that I have no idea how I'll be able to pull it off without staying in character) Also, that he cares for Bellatrix, at least somewhat.

Replace "where" with "who", and I think you've got my reaction down to a T.

/That his hatred of Muggles and Muggleborns and those who associated with them was part of a sort of "divine right to rule" and "right makes might" thing./

Interesting. So, in your headcanon, Voldemort’s goal is to rule over Muggles, like Regulus Black had signed up to do in canon, and, ironically, what Dumbledore and Grindelwald were planning to do together before Dumbledore eventually backed out.

/My brotp/friendship otp: Voldemort/Bellatrix, Voldemort/Snape. (In very very sick ways, all things considered)/

Honestly, I don’t see why it couldn’t be that way in canon. Voldemort could still be a frightening villain and actually care about some of his subordinates (albeit in his own twisted way). At the very least, it could have explained why they were so willing to join him and suffer for his sake, even when they apparently got nothing in return.

/most of it is a genuine belief that he is somehow doing what's right./

So, he’s a Well-Intentioned Extremist?

/Replace "where" with "who", and I think you've got my reaction down to a T./

Ha! XD Move over, John Galt, the real question is, “Who is Tom Riddle/Voldemort?”

[identity profile] ladyhadhafang.livejournal.com 2013-02-01 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
A bit of it, yes. That and the usual business for Voldemort as well.

And I definitely agree regarding that.

And yeah, that's definitely a part of it.

XD. That pretty much sums it up, really. :)
