I don't know. *Sighs* Sad thing is, people not keeping their mouths shut isn't an isolated incident -- I remember Nash covered this quite a while ago (warning for discussion of potentially offensive language): http://articles.nydailynews.com/2011-06-22/news/29710653_1_controllers-air-traffic-unidentified-pilot.

I think the really stupid part was the fact that he didn't realize that the mic got stuck, so his "Alas, everyone's had more sex than me" rant got transmitted over the *air traffic controller's channel*, i.e. how they land the planes. *Sighs* Seriously, dude, even if the mic *wasn't* stuck, there's a time and a place to complain about your "not getting any", and *while on duty as a pilot* is neither. I mean...just take it to Livejournal, like everyone else.

The woman making the comments sounds a lot like a troll on a forum or in article comments. Of course, the other lady shouldn't have confronted her. It's best to just quietly report the lady instead of making the situation worse since she sounded unstable anyways o__o so, uh, yeah D:

Is it bad that I read this with the subway kid voice over commercials in mind? The banter was rather childish from both sides. I mean, "shut your face?" really? o_O

I saw this on youtube yesterday, people like that make my blood boil.

I don't know how it works over there but in the UK racism or any other type of hate/ism is a crime and I can guarantee she will be charged for it. I also suspect she was drunk and will probably be charged with that too.
I feel sorry for the kid. :(
