If it's any sort of consolation, I'm a good handful of years older than you, and I've never kissed anyone either (romantically speaking, I've exchanged many platonic kisses).
I don't think it's necessarily sad. Some people are aromantic, and even among the rest of us, there's a range to which we put a priority on romance. I'd really like to have a romantic partner, and have lately made more a priority out of finding one - at the same time, my life is quite happy and fulfilling already. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's only sad if you are sad about it, not because other people would be in your place. Which I can't really tell either way from this post. (And you needn't enlighten me if you don't feel comfortable to do so.)
I'm a little angrier (and really, where do I begin in terms of things that make me angry? Prejudice, suffering, stuff like that...)
One of my all-time favorite bumper sticker quotes is "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention" - sums up so much of my socio-political-economic outlook in a nutshell.
Interesting thoughts on growing up. Now I think about it - I definitely wouldn't go back to being a kid. Even with all the bad stuff, I just find adulthood so much more engaging and fulfilling.
