This is probably my favorite of the Nostalgia Chick's reviews so far and that says volumes! :D She brought up a lot of good points about the movie (like it really being King Triton's story, not Ariel's) -- even if I didn't necessarily agree on some points, she really expressed them in a very well-thought-out way -- Elisa and co.'s contributions were funny (and Diamanda Hagan was just the icing on the cake! :D Seriously, I'd love to see her and Chick interact more often; I think it was that really "WTF" look on the Chick's ace that sealed it. Though I think she and Chick would get along well, actually. :), and I'm suddenly getting bunnies for a Team N-Chick-ish parody of THE LITTLE MERMAID with Chick as Ariel and Todd as Eric (let's say the scenes between her and Todd set it off) -- no idea who'd be Ursula, though. *Sighs* Definitely a good turnaround to a pretty crap day (I mean, really crap. I mean, you have no idea. 0.0).

I really do think so! If you think about it from that perspective, the story makes more sense. Ariel...not so much. Little Mermaid was never one of my favourites, though.

Yeah. I was more of a BEAUTY AND THE BEAST/HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME fan, really. :)
