Mostly I'm annoyed because this wetsuit I bought has yet to show up, because FedEx has its head up its ass. The Lucas thing...shit. I'm not even surprised, quite frankly. I checked out of the whole affair years ago. As long as I have my 1997 special editions on VHS, my online RP board, and select SW games, then I'm happy.
FedEx is slower than shit. They annoy me. I much prefer UPS.
You have it there. I got my old DVDs, my original KotOR, the books and games that I do like, hell, I wouldn't even know about the 3D or the Blu-Ray, except for my f-list.
I personally think that it would make a lot more sense if they had used an idea from the ROTS concept arts, where Padme is hinted to be *temporarily* Force sensitive while carrying the twins.
I like the Saga the way it is, you know? But yeah, that little idea from the ROTS concept art would be intriguing... I don't know, maybe she *is* hinted to be temporarily Force sensitive in ROTS and it's so subtle that I haven't noticed... ;)
Heck! Is it only me or LJ homepage is loading very incorrectly? :\
I dunno, I can't say. *Hugs back* *Sighs* I guess it's just...*sighs* I kind of have this irrational feeling like no one wants to hear what I have to say. Like I'm...boring, or something.
Well, there was the scene where she and Anakin "speak" to one another across Coruscant, but other than that...I can't say.
Oh, okay... I'm sorry, hon *hugs* That's just that, a feeling. It's not true.
Oh, yeah... that scene could be seen as a hint to her temporary Force sensitivity. :) I also think she knew what happened to Anakin after Mustafar, even though we never see Obi-Wan answering her questions. She knew he wasn't dead, if her last words are anything to go by.
That's all right...I guess I get defensive about my OT-love sometimes too, and lurking on places like the JCF and seeing people (mostly EU fans rather than PT fans, though) ranting about Luke/Mara or whatever else that doesn't fit with MY vision of what should have/would have happened, well that kind of bothers me too. Why can't we all just get along (or yes, at least offer good reasons. I don't know Confused Matthew, but Plinkett pretty much captures my feelings on the PT too. *shrug*) I know what it's like to love something that's not immensely popular (heck, loving Star Wars at all in 1993 earned me plenty of bullying at school, pretty much until the SE came out and everyone else decided it was cool again too), so no hard feelings. It's all good. :)
