I think they kind of meant that they wanted to focus some more on Katara's own feelings of betrayal. *Sighs* On the bright side, at least it didn't give them the opportunity to demonize Jet in favor of making Kataang look good (YMMV. :)... :/

And very true regarding Katara holding grudges. I mean...she's not perfect, to say the least. But then again, that's definitely why we love her. ^__^
And yeah, the flashbacks were pretty cool. (I think what's kind of funny, really, is that the actress who plays Kya is actually the same one who plays Azula. So if you think of Azula basically being Katara's mother...yeah. XD)
