This, so seriously. It's like they don't care what these characters mean to us who have played them for years.

I mean, with KOTOR 2 saying he left, at least it didn't necessarily mean he was going to stay gone. (although I wouldn't have him gone for 5 years.)

Characters only mean something and can (sometimes) stick around if they have the last name of Skywalker or Solo.

Which bites. :(

Look how many books are written about the Skywalker and Solo kids. I mean, some of them do die, but still, it's like if you're not really into the core characters, retcon and all that other crap can just wreak havoc with your squee.

What's worse is how many other fans just eat it up like candy and think it's great.

I don't know if I want them to bring back Revan. I would have rather left them alone and let our imaginations finish our individual story lines, or fanfics.

I heard there is another line of "HK" droids (which never made sense because HK-47 claimed he was unique in construction- which is how I have him in my fics.

Meaning that the HK-50 droids in KOTOR 2 can fit in, because they were made based upon HK-47's design, but Darkhorse had a HK-25 running around, and that's not in line with the original concept of HK-47.

That's the impression I get. I don't appreciate others copying HK-47. KOTOR 2 can do it because there is a logic to it, but a work pre-dating KOTOR 1? No. That's just being lazy. I'm sure Revan didn't pick out a line model to make HK-47. He would have wanted a droid that is unique.

Maybe they were following the "rhyming scenes -- ur doing them rong" maxim? :P *Is shot*

Meaning they think they can come up with a cooler model than HK-47 - the stupid competition meme, I call this.

Canon's confusing, really. :P
