Interesting~! The reason I'm not bothered by Obi-wan is because he was played by two actors that I quite like. I haven't read any SW books so Idk about his personality there though.

I don't mind the midichlorians either; every fandom has its slightly silly philosophies and inventions -- this is that. It might sound a little cheesy/weird, but maybe that's part of the appeal, haha. ^_^

I didn't much like the Clone Wars movie, haha~! ( EXCEPT FOR ASAJJ VENTRESS OM NOM NOM ♥ ) But I agree with what you're saying about everything not having to be all ~dark and stuff.
